Master of Language in Communication and Digital Culture

Master of Language in Communication and Digital Culture is a Master’s programme which focuses on the study of language in communication with an emphasis on the elements of digital culture.

Taught Course / Open Distance Learning ( ODL)

2-8 Semesters (subject to current lesson plan and UTM academic regulations)

CGPA ≥ 2.5 for the Bachelor Degree in Language and Communication or related field from UTM or any other recognized university by Malaysia ; or
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent but does not achieve at least a CGPA of 2.50; must have five (5 years) work experience in a relevant field

International students who wish to enroll in the postgraduate programs at UTM must meet the English language competency requirements as stipulated below:
Malaysia University Entrance Test (MUET) with a minimum score of Band 4.0 and above; or
IELTS with a minimum score of Band 6.0 and above; or
TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 60 and above; or
Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), with a minimum score of 169 and above; or
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum score of 59 and above; or
Certified Intensive English Programme Level (CIEP Level) achieving Level 109 and above.

Short semester fee	The fees applicable for registering for a short semester course are as follows: (a) Service fee: 1,470.00 (b) Study fee: RM XX per credit hour (03 credits = RM XX)
Graduation fee	Fee is based on current rate and subject to changes

Notes: All fee are subject to changes. Term and Conditions of Study Fee: For Taught Course and Mixed Mode students, study fee rate will be determined based on the number of credit hours that they have registered within the period for Amendment of Course Registration. Course Withdrawal after the Amendment of Course Registration period will not affect the fees for the semester.
